BACKGROUND

Dr. Charisse Gibert assists her husband, Bishop B.A. Gibert, as Assistant Pastor of Detroit World Outreach Christian Center Church in Redford, Michigan. Dr. Charisse has a passion and proven ability to teach people to fulfill their God-ordained destiny.

As an ordained minister and teacher, Dr. Charisse has been involved in ministry for over 24 years. Together with her husband, they served in 4 spirit-filled fellowships across America before assuming leadership of Detroit World Outreach in 2005. Through the years Dr. Charisse has served as

• Vacation Bible School Coordinator
• Teen ministry leader
• Woman's ministry leader
• Family & Parenting Counselor
• Writer/director/producer of Christian plays, Stage Productions, Fashion shows and other special events.

Dr. Charisse founded the “Women of Virtue” women’s ministry, a character-based ministry dedicated to teaching the women of God excellence in every area of life and she hosts an annual national conference for the edification and destiny fulfillment of women.

Along with Women of Virtue, Dr. Charisse also founded “Wellness Dynamics” in 2009; the health and wellness ministry of Detroit World Outreach dedicated to teaching people how to steward themselves through a holistic health approach to body, soul and spirit. Wellness Dynamics features participation in a variety of programs, classes and therapies that promote natural healing, prosperous health and overall wellness. Related to this she has built an extensive set of organic and holistic health products.

Dr. Charisse is a board certified naturopathic doctor and expresses a holistic health concept for the individual with emphasis on the Lord as the ultimate healer. She also hosts the “Recipes for Success” segment of the popular “Empowered For Destiny” television broadcast. Her first book, “A Wise Woman Builds Her House” has been blessing readers since 2004.
