To have an atmosphere where people with common lifestyles, Living Singles, can fellowship together around the purposes of Christ.

Mission Statement

To provide a sage environment for singles to get together and feel free to enjoy an event, service, or outreach without the common pressures of Living Single.

We want to foster an environment at all of our functions that allows support in sharing our relationships with God. Through this, it allows mentoring and encouragement amongst one another as we build our relationship first to God, and then to one another.

Key Ministries

• First Sunday Lunch is an opportunity for the Living Singles at DWO to go to a restaurant after the 11 am service and fellowship and get to know each other and meet new friends. We travel to different area restaurants on a rotation basis
  
  
• Once a quarter we have a Sunday Night Live service where we have invited other area churches to be a part of a group of singles. Our common purpose for this night is to lift up the name of the Lord through praise and worship and teaching of God's Word.
  
  
• On the fourth Saturday of every month, we are engaged in special indoor and outdoor events and trips

What is the role of Living Singles at DWO and how do you work with other ministries?

The Living Singles ministry believes their role at DWO is to serve other ministries within the church. Living Singles are really involved in every ministry in the church from helping with the children's ministry to youth to choir to ushers and greeters.

What are some of the key topics that are taught in Living Singles?

We believe and teach that being Single is not a stepping-stone to being married, but the ability to do more for God and do it victoriously.

How is Living Singles distinct or different from other ministries?

We are a ministry that emphasizes fellowship in not only a multi-cultural setting, but also a multi-generational setting. The ministry is different in that it also exists to serve other ministries.
